Qualified Chef De Partie
25 - 30 hours per week
Position available on following hours:
- Monday - Friday 10:30AM - 3PM,
- Wed-Friday 5PM - 8PM.
We are looking for a creative, talented, confident and experienced Chef de Partie to join our teams. We require all the good traits i.e. reliable, strong in managing a kitchen, organised, works well under pressure during busy services, and we are also looking for someone who can contribute to our team, who likes to be experimental with food, has a positive mind set towards others, and thinks on their feet.
A typical day on the job for you can include:
*Working in a team environment and contributing food ideas for daily specials
*Ensuring prep procedures, recipes, cooking methods and portion guidelines are followed
*Contributing to the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen
*Ensuring exceptional food quality and standards are delivered
*Maintaining safe food practices and food safety compliance.
To be successful in the role you will need to:
*To be a qualified Chef de Partie (formal qualifications or via work experience), and minimum of two years’ experience
*A genuine passion for cooking
*Strong communication skills
*Great attitude and strong work ethic
*Ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile
*Present professionally and well-groomed
*Flexible with a rotating roster including weekends and nights
